Welcome To Radio Asian Fever Asif, was born in Leeds in 1985, he has 3 brothers and 1 sister. He went to Boston Spa Comprehensive, Intake Performing arts academy and then University of Leeds where he graduated with a BA in Acting. He loves reading, enjoys philosophy and is at the gym 5 times a week. Asif is also a keen charity worker and has been a leader of acting classes for a disabled organization called HFT and is currently working with an organization called Home Start. Asif joined the fever crew at the age of 19. He started of with letting his listeners know about the bollywood scene. However, since the station has received its 5 year license he has made his home with R.A.F with his controversial debate shows with co-presenter Nahid. At the moment Asif is focusing on his Bollywood Vs Bhangra show with Jad Bad Mad which he thoroughly enjoys. Asif is a massive Bollywood fan and has met and mingled with some great bollywood names. Asif was in the front line on the red carpet at the IFA awards and had backstage access through out the evening. He met actors like Salman Khan, Shillpa Shetty, Priety Zinta, Anil Kapoor and many more. He always believes that Bollywood is the leading type of genre that will take over the world. Other then his presenting work, Asif has just been snapped up by PHA casting a top Casting agency In the North of England. Asif has performed in many productions which include works at the West Yorkshire Playhouse, City Verities and the Carriage works theatre, this is just to name a few. His TV credits include Emmerdale, Brookside, Family affairs and Channel fours award winning Secret millionaire. Asif has also worked with directors such as Mahish Butt (director of hits like ‘Jism', ‘Zakhm', and ‘Dushman' to just name a few) and Sameena Peerzada (a famous actress in Lahore and director of ‘Inteha' and ‘Shararat').
